facilitated naturalisation

Hi
a question about facilitated naturalisation: if the wife is eligible to apply for the facilitated naturalisation (being married to a Swiss for over 3 years +living here for more than 5 years), what if the husband doesn't agree her to apply (for a strange reason)?

Does anyone have this experience or have heard something about this situation? Many thanks for your opinions!

Re: facilitated naturalisation

He certainly does as if the authorities think the marriage is not working they cetainly won't grant a FACILITATED naturalistion, and the partner has to sign the forms and make a declaration. That's why it's called facilitated......

Re: facilitated naturalisation

The Swiss spouse has to co sign some of the documents as well as provide his confirmation of residency (at least in Geneva)

Re: facilitated naturalisation

No chance without partner agreement. during the interview process partner must indicate relationship validity in most situations.
