I am non EU and work in Zurich with a limited B as my contract is for 3 years. My wife has also found a job in a big pharma company and worked almost 2 years. Her permit is dependent on me, so she can work with no problem.

Since my contract will be over in 1 year and after that I plan to study a MBA program. I assume at that time my permit will become an educational B permit, so it is likely my wife will not be able to work in Switzerland if she still hold the dependent permit on me. Is it right?

According to my wife's HR, she can not apply for a independent permit as long as I still have my permit valid. Is it right?

Any suggestions to my case? Thank you very much

Can you please tell me if you have managed to convert the dependent permit of your wife to independent. I'm facing the same issue.
