American wants to do an internship in Switzerland

Hi!

I am looking for a solution for me and my partner. He is American and has no Master or Bachelor degree. From what I understood by going through all those government pages is that you can only get a working visa if you have a higher degree. I came back after my 2 year internship in the US to get my bachelor degree in accounting and controlling. It has been a couple of very long months. And we are looking for solutions almost every day. Switzerland is so strict. It is unbelievable, but I am positive that there is always a solution and a way you just have to be patient and think in every direction. Does anybody has some advices for us?

Are you married? From your profile, you say you are Swiss - if you are married and living in Switzerland, it would much easier for a company to hire him. It would help his prospects, though, if he spoke a national language.

Hi!

Yes, I am Swiss but we are not married. It would certainly make a lot of things easier.

Well, since the US is less strict, why don't you go there instead?

Unfortunately it is not that easy. I came back to get my bachelor degree, so I am "stuck" for three more years.
