Visiting Visa query - Need help

I am a student studying in St. Gallen with an L Permit. Over the new year I want to invite three friends over for holidays for 15 days.

Can anyone tell me whether inviting three friends at the same time would be a problem and they might not get a visa ?

I guess one has to financially sound for inviting 3 people at the same time..if thats ok, then things should not be a problem.

So why not contact the Swiss embassy in India and they will be able to tell you?

They will each need a Schengen single or multiple entry visa:

It must be handled outside Switzerland so the advice to consult the local Swiss embassy or consulate is reasonable. They may offload the Schengen application to a more local embassy run by another Schengen country.
