ID card and work permit

Hi,

Finally, I've received my Aufenthaltsbewilligung ID card. In the comments section it states "Mit Erwerbstatigkeit". My new work permit issued by ZH AWA was unrestricted. Is this comment just a mistake or it is still normal practice for unrestricted B permit?

The other question: Am I allowed to get a new job in any canton if my work permit was issued as unrestricted by ZH AWA?

Thanks!

mit erwerbstätigkeit= you may work. doesnt sound like a mistake to me. mine's the same way, same with my "following spouse".

if youre unrestricted this is good, this means you may change jobs if you need to and not reapply for anything.

Thanks! I thought it meant that I have to be employed for the validity of my permit.
