I have looked at all the other posts on the forum, and even got someone french to call Geneva canton, but I was wondering if anyone has any experience of transferring L permits non-EU amongst employers (We have no HR dept, it is very much diy HR we do here...). The Canton says it can be done, as long as there is a release letter from the previous employer (which there is), and there is about 1 year left on the 2 year L permit.
I take it this person could not start work until the Canton approve the transfer? Is it a lot of hassle?
