Hello all,

I am a Turkish national who normally requires visa to enter Switzerland.

I arrived Switzerland back in late February, entered with professional visa "Motif professionnel" and applied for my Permit L. I am still waiting to be issued with the permit and I would like to have a day trip to Italy to pick up my friend from airport (this is not a renewal issue, I am waiting for my initial permit).

Would this cause any problem? The visa I've entered to the country was a temporary 1 month one, with "duration of stay" stating "XX".

Best bet is to go to a manned border crossing (Ponte Tresa, Gaggiolo, and Chiasso always are) and ask.
