family reunion

I have a girl friend with B permit in Switzerland, which we are planning to be married. I am from third world nationality, but i have a residence permit in Europe because currently i am studding. how can i join my girl friend if she is not working currently?

Studding is a great job to have. I also did that when I was younger.

You can't because you're not related to her in any way. Only if you marry can you move here under family reunification.

If she has a B permit then it shouldn't be a problem, but if she still hasn't found a job by the time the permit needs be renewed, then you'd both have to leave the country I think, unless you have found a job by then.

The main stumbling block is that she/you need to prove to the authorities that you can support yourselves financially. If she's not working and you don't have a large amount of savings, etc, then it's not likely you'd be able to enter/stay. She should check with her cantonal migration office and RAV (I assume she's collecting unemployment benefits) for more definite info on the best way forward.
