| | Re: Normal Naturalisation - applicant diary | Quote: | | | | | 27.12.2019: Received letter from the town with the results of my test: 93/100, with 29/30 for the Zurich/town questions, so a clear pass :-) . The letter says they will get in contact regarding the interview, hopefully within Q1 of 2020. | | | | | Starting to get a bit nervous here, as it's been six weeks since this letter from the town. Until now they've been very quick, so surprised I haven't been contacted or even sent a bill. Will wait another couple of weeks or so before enquiring.

Yes, They are going through the applications received in chronological order and will have to wait for atleast one month. Its already 3 months since I received Einbürgerung Bewilligung and I cant believe it takes that much time after in the last step. I never heard aswell. Anyway left with no option, I have to wait

What letter does yours start with?

I've been told my interview with the town should be in March, so would like to hope that it only takes 6-7 months after that to finalise...but your story isn't giving me much hope. :-(

When did you apply for the citizenship?2017 or 2018?
It seems that from now the process will take approximately 24 months in ZH |

Don’t forget the intelligence test - my letter said room 32, but there’s only 31 and 33 😉

There are applicants in this thread (#202 and #210 for example) who applied the same time or after you, but have their citizenship for some time now.

That might be a factor as well as the locality.
