I am going to graduate, and I know from the university that we can extend the residence permit for half year in order to "find a job".

Firstly, I don't know which office I should go to deal with the permit extension...Kreisburo or migrationsamt in Zurich?

Secondly, now I don't have a room, I temporarily stay with a friend, it's impossible to add my name in the room's contract, can I still use "care of" to apply for the extension in the office? It would be more convenient to have a PO box, however, as you might know, I don't have an official address in CH.

Not sure if a PO box is acceptable, but care of your friend should be fine.

Should I provide the office with some document to prove my accommodation in this friend's room?

I guess they might want to see his rental contract. Why not take it and him along with you when you go to register then he can answer any questions they may have. I'd start at the Kreisburo; if they don't deal with it they'll send you on to the migration office.
