How to get passport stamped with date of entry

I will be entering Switzerland from Milano on the train. I will be entering on a new visa and I want to get my passport stamped. Where do I go? I understand this won't happen if you cross the border on the train. Confused!!!!

Re: How to get passport stamped with date of entry

It's unlikely that your passport would be checked/stamped at all when passing from one schengen country to another, whether by train or plane. It will be checked as you enter the schengen zone (ie Italy).
