work permit for NON EU person studying french in Geneva

Hello every body
Iam from EGYPT......I plan to study French at a school in Geneva ...can I obtain a work permit during the period of my study? ......thanks in advance

No. You cannot get a work permit just because you want to study French in Switzerland.

What your student permit will allow is up to 15 hours per week part-time work.

The student permit allows you to work 15 hours per week. You don't get a separate work permit.

I don't know if it applies to everyone, but there is a delay:
You cannot start work in the first 6 months you are here. So you can work for 15 hours a week, but only after you have lived here for 6 months.
