B Permit Quotas

Does anyone know around when the B-Permit Quotas (for Non-EU) are exhausted every year? I remember reading somewhere that quotas remain unfilled even until end of the year these days - any truth to that?

Re: B Permit Quotas

I'd try phoning the immigration department of the relevant Canton (either the one you want to live in or the one you think you'll be employed in) and simply ask how much of the quota is left over at the moment
