Unemployment negative effect on Permit C/ Citizenship

I am a non-EU citizen, and I have a permit B until the end of my PhD studied.
I am finishing my Ph.D which means I have worked in Switzerland for the past 5 years, now I am thinking to get unemployment benefits when I finish because I have not found a job yet.
1. Can getting unemployment insurance benefit (RAV) affect the citizenship or even C permit in future? (provided that I can find a job after being a few month on unemployment benefits)
2. How long I can receive this benefits?(My B permit expires at the end of my contract (end of PhD), but apparently they give a R permit after that)
