I have searched the site and cannot find anything related to my query so I hope you can help.

I have been living here for the last 3 years on an L permit. I have had seasonal work and fulfilled all visa requirements. I am now awaiting a 364 day L permit.....I do not work enough hours apparently to get anything but this. I am teaching for a private school on a weekly basis.

I have been with my Swiss boyfriend for over 6 years and now we find I am pregnant. I am thrilled silly as is he.

The question I have relates to my status here now that I am pregnant or rather the status of the child. I know if we are not married my partner has to declare that the child is his which is no problem but what are the affects on the status of the child?

I am quite happy to continue working as soon as possible after the baby is born as I am not sure if I am entitled to any benefits but that is not a worry for me. I have full insurance cover etc.
I am not sure if I am clear in my question and I might not be in the right forum so please forgive me if I am not. I have to start somewhere.
