RTS reports on naturalization process/naturalization test

The canton of Bern has published the test candidates have to go through on the way to naturalization:
http://www.rts.ch/info/suisse/683579...formalite.html

I got 92% (and have been Swiss for about 15 years). I reckon few Swiss will manage more than that and many much less.
Post your scores below, for fun of it.

Re: Naturalization test

O man, 48%. Shame.

It probably wouldn't have been so abysmal had the test been in German. All those French abbreviations did a number on me.

In any case, that's the first practice test I've done. There will be many more before my magic date in 2016 when I complete my residency requirement. Thanks for posting!

RTS reports on naturalization process

On the programme "Mise au point:"

Part 1 on the candidates

Part 2 on the people in charge of examination

You can also try the naturalization test for canton Berne here.

69%.... and I even got one wrong because I mistook Lake Maggiore for Lake Lugano... which I wouldn't normally do, honest

Where do I sign?

42% but I speak practically no French so I had to guess what most of the questions meant before I guessed the answers.

63%, not bad as I haven't done any French for 25 years.

I got 67% but had to guess quite a few of them. I'm not really very au fair with Swiss politics.

Hm I find it's very unclear then!
Especially that this answer seems always valid:
Les soins dentaires ne sont pas pris en charge par l’assurance maladie
(dental care is not covered by the lamal)

No?

Funny thing: we don't have the right of vote, and they expect us to know everything in detail! (like the guy's face, etc...).

Seems a bit hypocritical, no?

But the whole point is by doing this you get the right to vote, so I don't understand your argument

You can certainly say it's hypocritical in that natives don't have to do the test in order to vote, but they are Swiss by definition, including potentially the right to not give a damn about knowing this stuff. Then it's a statement rather than ignorance or poor integration
