How long one can stay outside switzerland and come back

Hi,

My dependents are going back to my country due to some emergency. They will be back, however they might stay more 3 months in my native country. My question is,

'How long(MAX) one can stay outside with L permit and re-enter Switzerland with the same old permit.

Thanks in advance.
