I have been a regular reader of this fantastic website for help, and isn't it always the way that the first post is always for help
sorry for that. I look forward to contributing and helping if or where I can
I am a Russian national working in Switzerland since 6 years and have a B permit (the non EU one year one). I work in the performing arts...(no it isn't what you think
I have now been asked to perform for a week in a EU country festival and will receive a payment, but here is the problem (I have searched already on the forum for it ) Also this will also happen more often in future too.
The company have asked that I get an A1 form to show that I am paying Social Security benefits in the EU, or they will deduct about 40% of my payment to pay the fees in the country
The issue is that the taxation authorities say I cannot get an A1 form as I am not an EU National
But noone has told me if I have an alternative way of producing a form that will stop me from paying the 40%
Does anyone have any experience in how I can overcome this issue?
Many thanks nd hello to you all
