Different Signatures on New Passport and B Permit

Hi all,

I have recently gotten a new passport which I signed with a signature different from the one in the old passport (issued around ten years ago). My B permit was signed with the old signaure. Should I now check with the authorities and update my data? (I am living in Basel-Stadt) Does anybody have experience with this? (assuming that I need to check in with migration authorities.)

Thanks and happy holidays
