EU/ Non-EU couple working across Switzerland / France border

Hi all,
A question this forum might be able to help with

I am an EU citizen moving to work for a company in Geneva.
My wife is non-EU (US) who, by the nature of her job, is able to work from home.
We are considering living in France.

My question: Is there any reason why we would not be able to live in France whilst I (the EU citizen) commute into Switzerland to work and my wife (non-EU) works from home in France?

Thanks in advance,

BenP

There probably will be one if your wife does not have EU residency yet. This is something that will be covered by French rather than Swiss immigration legislation.

Thank you for the swift response

I belive you are correct regarding the residency but this is something that hopefully can be applied for once we are re-located (carte de sejour)? My wife does not need to start work straight away so hopefully this should not prove too much of an obstacle.
