So my husband is a Swiss citizen, and we are planning to move together for the family reunification reason. We are planning to arrive at the same time, but a condition for the visa is that we have a lease.
My husband's company can provide us with a lease for a shorter duration (3-6 months) furnished apartment. Does anyone know if this is acceptable for the migration authorities?
We will find a better apartment for a long duration after this lease is up, but figured we did not want to gamble renting an apartment sight unseen for an entire year.
The migration authorities have been exceptionally strict with our case, although both of us have jobs lined up for us in Switzerland, sufficient funds, and we are married, most importantly of all. Can't be too careful.
