Hello everybody, I am looking for adivse here:-

My husband is from EU with permit B working in Switzerland. I, as a non-EU nationality are waiting for family reunion visa to enter Switzerland and I do not have EU resident permit also.

I would like to know in this conditon how much possibility to get the visa. What kind of condition needed for us to ensure this visa.

Years ago, while I was still on B permit, I wanted to get visa for a family member. Here is how it worked.
I went to Stadthouse and filed for an invitation (they have special forms) for the person whom I was inviting. The person then went to the Swiss embassy with the invitation and his visa was granted.
I hope procedure have not changed.

However I would like to know what is the condition for me to get a visa with 100% possibility. I heard if I get a EU resident permit already then the chance is securied. Since I do not have this EU resident permit, I wish to know what is the condition to meet the requirement for a non-EU to get family reunion visa.

It is 100% assuming you are not a criminal or similar exceptional reason.
