Received Authorization, now Visa Stamping

Hello,

I am glad that I got my Authorization letter from Canton in less than 3 weeks of submitting my Visa application at New Delhi.

Now, I need to re-submit my Passport for getting the Visa stamped. I want to know from those who had applied before if you directly got it stamped from the Embassy, if Yes, how did u book your appointment. There is a slight confusion, as the Embassy says it is possible to get the Visa stamped directly from them, but the appointment has to be booked through VFS. On the other hand, VFS says it is not possible to make an appointment for Visa stamping at Embassy through their website. Rather, I need to re-submit at VFS who will get it stamped from the Embassy; however, this would take around 6 working days, and clashes with my joining date.

Please let me know if you ever had a similar situation.
