I applied to renew my US visa (F-1), while working temporarily in Switzerland. After weeks of admin. processing, the Embassy informed me today that the visa is finally ready. I need to mail them the passport and they will send the stamped passport back. I was wondering how long it takes? I live in Zurich, if that helps.

It VISA is ready should be a quick process.
I did an interview at embassy for B1/B2 and left the passport.
Which was back in my mailbox 2 days later completed with visa

Same for me, interviewed on Monday and left passport, Thursday I received it on my door by dhl courier.

I live on the west coast in the US. I mailed out our passports Friday before last, they arrived at the consulate in San Francisco on Tuesday (2 days early), and I had the visa stamped passports back in my hand Thursday.
