Moving to Switzerland for work while having a Syrian Passport

Hello,

I'm Syrian but I was born and lived all my life in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), I'm interested in working at a company in Switzerland, but I'm wondering how the process will be, do I need to apply for visa or work permit and how things work for a Syrian passport case.

If you have a look at the forum section "permits/visas" you will find a load of information for non EU persons wanting to work in Switzerland.

It's not a case of you applying for a permit, you need to find a Swiss employer willing to go to the time and expense of applying for one for you. Priority is given to Swiss/EU nationals with quota limits on permits for non-EUs so unless you have unique skills/experience then an employer probably won't bother to try.
