First two years with L permit

Hello EF.

I would be happy if anyone of you can share your experience with me, please. I came to Zurich 3 years ago with a full-time open-ended contract. I have a non-EU passport.
I was given L permit for the first 2 years, even though I have an open-ended contract, and after the first two years now I have a B permit, with the same contract.
I already got my prolonged B permit for the 4th year.
I just want to know, if I stay here enough and be eligible to get a C permit and even though I had the same contract and was paying the same tax, would these 2 years with L permit be counted? 

Thanks for any comments in advance.

Re: First two years with L permit

This is for Canton Schaffhausen, but may give you some help/advice.

Still if you don't speak German to a certain level, you won't get a C permit anyway.

Re: First two years with L permit

If your contract was permanent, these first 2 years with L are taken into account in Zurich. All the rules can be found here https://ma.zh.ch/internet/sicherheit...-+Internet.pdf
