What are the real chances of getting a work-permit for a highly educated non-EU

Hi there,

I come from a non-EU country (Kosovo) and I've been reading all the information about eligibility of non-eu's to get a work permit.

I am a pharmacist, who graduated in the Czech Republic and have a MSc degree in Pharmaceutical Analysis & QC from King's College London and I have more than 4 years experience in pharmaceutical industry. I have additional professional certificates in Business Management and Lean Six Sigma.

I want to move to Switzerland through a work-permit, but of course my concern (as all other non-eu's) is the priority rule given to Swiss and then EU countries.

My specific questions are:

1. Can anyone tell me how do employers consider a candidate with my qualifications and experience? A highly qualified person or an average candidate that could be found easily in Swiss and/or EU. What do you think are my chances to beat this priority?

2. What is "a reasonable time" for the employer to advertise the job vacancy in RAV and EURES? Does anyone know how long is this reasonable time, before the employer can say that they couldn't find anyone suitable from the Swiss/EU?

I'd greatly appreciate your answers.

P.S. I know about the limited quotas as well and other informations regarding the regulations on work-permits for non-EU. I am more interested on the experience of people with similar qualifications...
