My situation is the following:

EU-2 with an open ended work contract that starts next month.

Most probably I'll get a one year L for me and my wife, due to the quota system.

At the end of May the restrictions will be lifted and we can easily get a B.

My question is:

Can I reapply for a permit again at the beginning of June even if I get a one year L in February?

Or it is mandatory to wait until February 2020 for that?

As far as I read the comments from the legends in this forum and from the migration office websites (or canton websites ) once L is issued you have to consume 24 months on L , No matter what and who you are.

Once L is consumed, you will be eligible for B. Others may correct it if its wrong.

They've told me that I can reapply in June.
