How to get past strict security at Lausanne Service de la Population @ Beaulieu

Every time I just want to ask a question in person the security guard scrutinises and has refers to the fact that it's better to email or mail. Emails have gone unanswered. I do have a reference number and have indicated in person at the security and in emails - it really doesn't help get a reply.

The phone lines are not manned nor accept voicemail messages - simply a recorded message.

There are specific questions I want to ask quickly in person so any tips on what to say to the guard to obtain access?

Send a registered letter with your questions and state a date by which you would like a response.

No idea what the questions are but if it's holding up some other procedure you're trying to get done, that's a reasonably reliable way of getting some answers.

Maybe also point out in the letter that you have tried the usual forms of communications already to no avail.

Understood and thanks. It may be the best and only action.

My preference is still to have a conversation with someone there.

If there's any more suggestions on how to get a face to face talk, I'd appreciate that.

Write and ask them for an appointment. Without an appointment you won't be allowed to see anyone; that's what appointments are for.

I suspect that your problem is simply that your questions are well covered by readily available sources of information and they don't want to waste their time confirming that yes, these answers do apply in your specific case and no, your unique circumstances do not grant you an exemption.

Just like the vast majority of questions on this subject that get posed here on EF.

Sounds like they may be actively avoiding you, you got "past form" with them by any chance ?
