Staatskunde Test : Dietlikon ZH : do's / dont's

I just passed the Staatskunde Test for Dietlikon in Zurich and thought of sharing my experience.

Question Distribution (total 60)
- Swiss : 47
- Zurich ( Kanton) : 4
- Dietlikon (gemeinde) : 9
pass = 60% (36)

Swiss part
- Do not overestimate the exam.
- Try to learn / memorise from the red coloured book that comes with the invitation to give the test.
- There is an online test for Argau. I spent a lot of time with it. I learnt some stuff for sure. but the time spent was not worth it.
- Simple questions like below were there
-- Full form of various ministries (e.g UVEK)
-- various pension / social security pillars
-- Pictures of various places in Switzerland to be mapped to cantons (e.g. Wooden bridge in Luzern, the clock tower in bern etc)

Kantonal part (Zurich for me)
-- basic information like 2nd largest place, some important places etc

Gemeinde (Dietlikon for me) - I underestimated this part.
-- Read the small booklet about gemeinde
-- public transport related information
-- names of various gemeinderats
-- important establishments in the gemeinde

In summary
- KISS - keep it simple and stupid :-)
