NON EU student visa advice needed

Hello!
I am 32 from the U.S and was just accepted for a Masters in Communication, Health and Management from USI in Lugano. They warned me that there is a high chance of the student visa getting denied because of my age and work experience. I plan on including in my motivational essay why this program and how it is beneficial to my career back in the states. Does anyone have experience getting approved for a student visa over 30 years old? Is there something specific I should include in my essay. Should I have it translated in Italian? Is there any hope at all?
Thanks for any responses!!

Of course there is hope. Not the same but I was 25 when I got my visa to do the same bachelor here again (who does that right?). My German was quite bad, I didn't have enough money but now I am close to the end. As long as you explain yourself well in your letter and have all the documents properly, it should be okay.

Hi, I'm new to this forum.

I have a similar situation as yours. Though I've looked for answers everywhere, I've seen that they dont give a visa D if you already hold the same degree that you're applying for. Could you tell me how you got to apply for the same Bachelor again?

Hi lipt. Did you read it on an official website or just some random blogs? Because I got my visa for the same bachelor degree in 2017. Anyway, I donít know if it changed by the time.
I donít remember doing something special for the application. I just gave reasons in my cover letter, like learning german, improving myself etc., and a commitment that I will go back after finishing the university. It was necessary for any application though.
