Zürich Naturalisation

Hi folks,

It’s been a while and hope everyone is keeping well.

I have submitted my application in December 2018 kn Canton Zürich, Gemeinde 11. A month after that, I got a letter that my application has now been sent to my Wohngemeinde. This was in January 2019. Since then, it has been total silence — exactly 5 months.

Is this expected and what should I expect and when? Any step I need to take or wait for godot....

Thanks a mil.

Re: Zürich Naturalisation

It was a lovely sunny evening and people were probably outside enjoying the weather?

Type in naturalization in the search box, lots and lots of threads on that

Re: Zürich Naturalisation

Why not simply pop down to the Gemeindehaus and ask them? Maybe they are waiting for you to send in your test scores for a requested exam e.g. Each Gemeinde has their own process.
