Indian engaged to Swiss - questions about preparing for marriage

Hi. I’m an indian citizen and my fiancé is Swiss. We are in the process of gathering documents to apply for a marriage visa. Can someone please tell us what are the financial requirements from my fiancé(Swiss)? Thank you

According to one of the forum legands, You'll at least need a 2 room apartment and an income of at least 3 times the rent. Here you could find it.

Depends on the canton you intend to live. In some a one room studio can be enough. But honestly, even then get at least a two room apartment

Re: Indian engaged to Swiss - questions about preparing for marriage

Usefull links to official information:
https://www.ch.ch/en/marriage/

https://www.eda.admin.ch/countries/i...il-status.html

https://www.sem.admin.ch/sem/de/home...ennachzug.html

Financial means and minimum apartment size is set by each canton. As you do not say which in canton you will end up I link the information of the most populous canton, Zurich (It is always good to mention what canton is involved as many things can be different depending on canton):

https://ma.zh.ch/internet/sicherheit...iennachzug.pdf

which mentions the SKOS guidlines which can be found here https://skos.ch/skos-richtlinien/

If I am not mistaken the budgets given at http://www.budgetberatung.ch/ have more free money and, and if you fit them in them you should be more than o.k.
