Luzern Migration - Student visa rejected

Hello,

A good day,

My student visa is rejected on the following reasons and they have given me an opportunity to comment on it.

Reasons are :

1 : Secure re-exit does not seem sufficient, as according to the Swiss representation, the migration pressure in Pakistan is still high and it is especially difficult for young Pakistani people to get used to local living conditions after a few years abroad (they currently live in Turkey). In addition, the labour market is difficult due to the current Situation. Fake documents are widely used and, therefore, proof of authenticity of the submitted documents is difficult.

2 : no need to study in Switzerland

Would anyone be kind enough to shred some lights here, what could be some best answers.

I would really appreciate it.

Thank you in advance for your comprehension.

Re: Luzern Migration - Student visa rejected

Show the need that you must study in Switzerland, where living cost is high and English not one of the official languages, and why you cannot get the same education anywhere else in the world where it would be much cheaper. Countries such as Qatar, Germany, China, and Turkey where you reside come into my mind, but not forgetting any other Commonwealth country.

Then show conclusive proof that you will with 100% certainty leave Switzerland at the end of your studies and return to Pakistan or any other country where you have a permanent residency right.

Finally, curse all your fellow country men which have misused there stay, provided fake documents, or did not expatriate after the end of there study time.

Re: Luzern Migration - Student visa rejected

Thank you for rapid reply, I actually appreciate that.

I have provided a job guarantee letter and company’s documents such as Trade License and Share certificate. It shows that I already have a job waiting for me but still they have proposed this action.

How else can i assure that i will definitely leave the country once my education is completed.

Any other way to assure it?

I have ultimatum of 10 days from now.

Takle rejection point No. 2 first. You need first a reason to come before you can talk about motivations to leave.

Re: Luzern Migration - Student visa rejected

Hello,
Thank you,

Masters in Business Administration with a major in Business Development and promotion which is neither offered in Turkey nor in Pakistan. Even if it was offered it would be based on theory.
Switzerland is famous as of having high-quality and best academic and practice-oriented programs whereas Turkish and Pakistani Universities are more theory oriented. Deciding Switzerland for studies does not surprise anyone, knowing that it stands amongst the top class education for international students.
Studying at HSLU will help me stay ahead of the students who opted to stay at home

That's not a terrible argument, but it doesn't address other possibilities, such as USA, UK, Germany, etc. You're saying why you want to study here. The authorities seem to be asking you to prove why you need to study here.

Re: Luzern Migration - Student visa rejected

I was discussing these very issues yesterday in Berne, as we have problems obtaining visa for certain nationalities, though Pakistan is not one of them.

The Federal Government does have worries about students returning home, and have found some countries to be worse than others. Part of the reason we get students and obtain the visa's for them is because of our dual accreditation, US and Swiss, and being an English speaking uni, means the degree is of greater value to English speaking citizens for whom a US degree would be beneficial.

The Lucerne program while a good one, is only accredited in Switzerland (also EU thanks to the Bologno protocol) and so it could be argued is of limited use to people from Pakistan and the sub-continent.

Appeal by all means but your justification will have to be very high to get your visa.

How about you describe why you could not apply for Commonwealth Master’s Scholarship. UK has some very prestigious universities.

Why HSLU (an University of Applied Science / Fachhochschule FH) and not the more prestigious HSG or UZH? Can you explain the difference between an Fachhochschule and a traditional University.

Considering the mentioned program at HSLU needs German proficiency on C1 level, the very next question you have to answer why studying in Germany is not possible. In the end Germany has many renowned practice-oriented Fachhochschule as well. Oh, and is your German on C1 level?

Re: Luzern Migration - Student visa rejected

Hello,

Why HSLU because the intended masters degree is only available in HSLU.

I would say HSLU doesn’t require C1 in German since my degree is in English and i have provided sufficient English language skills.

What next now?

What could be best possible answers

Which point I should i focus on?
