The question was most likely more in the direction of "What have you done that you got an entry ban?"

Regarding your problem: Check after November 30th if there is still an entry ban listed in the SIS against you.

Unfortunately, your photo is absolutely not readable. Can you type what is actually written? Maybe you misunderstood and it is simply a general information that you might request rectification or deletion of inaccurate data. If the ban is legit it can not be deleted, at least not as long as it is active.

You might also write a simple letter to fedpol, and request that the ban should be removed from the SIS after November 30th. But I suspect that is done anyway automatically.

Re: How to remove my ban from Switzerland in schengen area

Ok, I understand you did something bad and you don't need to answer to my question. But I am super curious as what happened to you getting a ban from the whole Schengen area.

Since you are completely anonymous, mind sharing with us (maybe also since you've been helped out quite nicely here)?

For example:

  • 1 year: in the case of an overstay of more than 3 days and up to 90 days.
  • 2 years: the standard length (for example in the case of an overstay of more than 90 days).
  • 3 years: in the case of a prison sentence of less than 6 months.
  • 5 years:
    • in the case of a prison sentence of 6 months or more.
    • if you have made use of false or falsified documents, or documents that do not apply to you.
    • if you have previously been required to leave the Netherlands and you have not done this (return decision).
    • if during your entry ban, you enter or stay in the Netherlands while the entry ban applies.
  • 10 years: issues of public order.
  • 20 years: issues of public order and national security.
This is from the Netherlands, would imagine the reasons are similar in Switzerland

I bet there's a few people in the U.K. who have committed a crime resulting in a short custodial sentence - I guess after Brexit that they won't be going on their holidays to the Costa del Sol for a few years.

Surely it's only if they committed the crime in the Schengen area.... not at home in the UK.

Oh sorry , i go in Zurich and like a most of people i search for the job but i can not find , because no one can offer me a job without contract , so i go in Zug and call one people from Albania and i say can you find me something because i not have a lot of money to pay for hotel , he send me a location and i go to meet later i say what we do here ? And he say you can sell drugs Ďheroineí and we can win both , i not accepting in the first time , but he leave me and say if you sell that you have 3000chf and i say i go in hotel and if i am ok i call you , i go in hotel stay and i say ok , in the first delivery the police catch me , and i go in jail for 2 days the police catch me only with 300 chf and i tell everything true , so i stay only 4 days in Zurich and in the day 4 they catch me and this finish , they give me 3 years ban from schenegen and 2 years in prove if i do that more , but if do that more i can go directly for 6 months in jail but I donít want to try more that , so this is my history , i apply for all my documents and now is everything ok , but I donít know how to remove a ban to move in schengen

Re: How to remove my ban from Switzerland in schengen area

Quote:

fodpol examined the SiS database on the basis of your request for the applicant and the power of attorney and copy of the sibanene passport of the applicant. The applicant was reported in the IS from 1 December 2016 for a period until 30 November 2019 by the State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) pursuant to Article 24 of Regulation (EC) No 1987/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council (Schengen alert for refusal of admission). This decision was notified to the applicant on 1 December 2016. | The reasons for the SEM for the report are as follows

[...]

c. According to SEM information, a possible lifting of the national entry ban and therefore of the alert in the SIS for the purposes of non-admission to the Schengen area can be examined 10 years after the issuing of the ban, if a reasoned request is presented (accompanied by a current extract of the judicial aselian of the country of origin or of the country of stay, curriculum vitae containing information on work and on the financial and family situation) There is also the possibility & request a temporary suspension of the ban. In both cases, the application must be submitted for examination to the State Secretariat for Migration SEM, Quellenweg 6, 3003 Bern.

Look like the ban is valid till November 30 2019. After that the ban is lifted. That you got a ban will be visible at least till December 1st 2026. In addition it will also be visible to any authority (police, border agents, visa authorities, etc.) which checks the SIS why you got a ban. December 1st 2026 earliest you can submit an application that it should be removed for good.

According to what you have posted it looks like the ban for the Schengen area gets automatically lifted on November 30 2019 and you can enter as a tourist using the 90 days out of any 180 days rule. I do not read anywhere that you must submit a request.

There might be a longer ban which applies to Switzerland only.
