Re: Non EU Concubine Visa

To me the word concubinator is in the same class as burglarize. It sounds artificially constructed by somebody who hasn't an ounce of linguistic aesthetics.

Surely there must be a nicer word in French or Italian or Hindi or Ancient Icelandic that we can steal.

Re: Non EU Concubine Visa

I feel this thread has been somewhat hijacked by the semantics of the word concubine. Like it or not this is a term used in an official document made by the migration department of the canton of Zurich, Erwerbslose Wohnsitznahme aus Drittstaaten section 6 if anyone wants to look it up.

I would appreciate if anyone had any advice in regards to the visa situation, for myself and for people who face a similar situation in the future, and if anybody could expand on Medea’s useful information thus far

Icelandic. Doesn't have to be ancient, the traditional family model saw its zenith.

Zurich from the information I’ve got so far, but I’m sure there are more. I have the link for the migration office of each canton if you want it?

Re: Non EU Concubine Visa

Hi,

Could you please forward me the link?

My situation is the following, I'm Italian, live and work in Lucerne with a B permit, and would like to bring my Canadian girlfriend here.

I wonder if we can apply for a concubine/partner visa for her to stay here legally more than 3 months.
