Australian with Swiss permit B working in France

Does anyone know if as an Australian passport holder who lives in Switzerland with a permit B can work over the border in France?

No, you need a French permit. The Swiss one is not valid in France

You might need a Swiss permit C to get the French cross border worker permit.

At least that would be the case with Germany. There might be a treaty between France and Australia which grants you easier access.

Re: Australian with Swiss permit B working in France

Yes, I would guess it's similar to the rules for a G permit here, i.e. you'd need to have permanent residency here (C permit) and to have lived in a border zone for at least 6 months.

If it exists for France of course.
