Re: Non EU stay in Switzerland?

Seems most likely, but every case is different. It really depends on whether you can meet the criteria to get you an independent permit.

Also don't know whether this might apply if you're graduating from a uni.

https://www.sem.admin.ch/sem/en/home...ml#Derogations from the admission requirements

If so, then you might be able to get a L permit for up to 6 months to look for a job here.

Unfortunately, in order to get that L permit they will have to show proof of having enough income to support themselves for 6 months e.g. bank statements, RAV support, guarantors etc.

Is there an entitlement to partner-alimentation in your situation.

I don't think they will have a big problem with letting you finish your education here since it is only a few months, but you do need money for that. Perhaps you can take a loan from your parents or something like that.

Re: Non EU stay in Switzerland?

Since apprentices earn very little, I presume your wife is now supporting you while you do your apprenticeship. Depending upon your and your wife's circumstances, a Court might find it reasonable that your wife continue to support you until your apprenticeship is completed.

Here is an advice centre for people doing apprenticeships such as your EBA.
https://kabel-berufslehre.ch/angebote/index.html

There, they may be able to tell you about possible sources of income such as bursaries or loans.

If your wife cannot or will not support you, are their others around you who might help you now? If your aim is to stay in Switzerland, then what could you offer, so that someone might want to help? For example, is there a family which might let you stay at their place, in exchange for your helping with their garden or with babysitting? If you have a reasonable relationship with your employer, or with the teachers at your EBA school, have you approached them to ask whether they know of a solution, just until you've passed your exams?
