Accepting contract/one-off work on a dependent L permit
Hello,
My spouse is on a dependent L permit. We are both non-EU. She would be allowed to work a "normal" job here, if an employer was willing to sponsor her application, and go through the government process. However, the nature of her work is usually one off assignments, and very contract based. Someone recently offered to contract her for a project in a fee for service kind of way. Essentially, "Generate these visuals (graphic design), we'll pay you this much money, case closed."
I can't find any information anywhere about whether or not this is legal on a non-EU dependent L permit. I would imagine this is similar to self-employment. I have seen folks post that self-employment is not possible as non-EU on a dependent L-permit, but I haven't seen any reference to any Swiss law or swiss government website. Any guidance, with specific references, would really be appreciated!
