Go into the control panel and then choose Edit Avatar. If it's not that then it'll be Edit Profile Picture.

Thank you! That worked.

Thanks. That's one of the "pistes" I am following.

I've removed the photo as your avatar. It's still your profile picture, but it won't be attached to every post you make like an avatar is. Let me know if you want it removed from the profile as well.
Thanks!

I lived for over 30 years in Suisse romande and now have family (Swiss citizens) living in Geneva. I am non-EU. Does anyone in a similar situation have experience applying for a permis B pour rentier from the OCPM? Any idea how long it takes for an application to be acknowledged? Processed? All info welcome!

Re: Permis B pour rentier, Geneva, non-EU

It takes as long as it takes, especially in these covid hit times. When did you apply and have you followed up with a query at all on how the application is progressing?

Are you in Vaud (you give your location as Nyon) or Geneva?

Re: non-EU retiree wants to move back to Switzerland

To all who replied at one time or another to this thread: Apologies for not responding to your comments at the time. I'm an ancient person and a serious technopeasant!

Thanks to those who explained how to remove our photo and for all the other useful comments and suggestions.

I know my profile says Vaud (my final years were in Nyon) but I actually live now in the US - left Switzerland a dozen years ago.

We submitted our permit request (permis B pour rentier) to OCPM through the Swiss Consulate in Atlanta in mid-October. My gut instinct is not to badger them for an update until mid-January (3 months); am I wrong? Anyone else have experience getting a permis B pour rentier?
