Migration office: Proof of income/wealth

Hi all

I have received a reply from Migration Office while having a B permit processed. They're for the second time asking:

"Einkommen- und Vermögenachweis (Bankkontoauszug, aus dem das Einkommen/Vermögen in Schweizer Frank order Euro ersichtlich ist)"

First I sent them a salary statement as proof of income. Now they have asked the exact same question again, so that was clearly no what they were looking for.

For the record, I don't have a Swiss bank account yet, as I'm waiting for the permit before I open one.

As I understand it they want bank statements. Is an overview of the funds I have available fine? I can get that, but I already talked to my bank and they can only supply this documentation in Danish (and currency Danish Krone, DKK).

If I understand what they need to see, I can more easily compile information for them. Do they want to see I have enough money to survive, or are they checking if I have assets that can be taxed, etc?

If they're looking to ensure I have enough funds, should I disclose that I own shares in companies in Denmark and/or if people owe me a significant amount of money?

This is very confusing I hope someone can help me out!

Re: Migration office: Proof of income/wealth

All your assets in all countries.
All your income from all countries.

These shown by statements, certificates, employment contracts, tax declarations, etc.

Where any amounts are not in CHF, make a list of those documents and use the official exchange rates, and translate them into CHF.

If you’re working here, your employment contract should be sufficient. As it shows income and how long it will last (employment duration).

Re: Migration office: Proof of income/wealth

Thanks for the replies To clarify, I'm working (for a foreign employer) and they asked this question in relation to ANobAG status. I'm making a new reply to them in collaboration with PayrollPlus to inform that I'm not under the ANobAG scheme.

If this question is related to ANobAG, then it should go away.

But if the question is unrelated and they want me to disclose my assets, I'll do that.
If this is what they want and they want to know the value of my companies, which amount would they be interested in? The result of 2019? I can also disclose the current amount on the bank statements, but it would be highly inaccurate as pending tax/VAT payments makes up a significant chunk. So it's earmarked money I can't just go out and spend.

The companies have no relation to my employment and they are both inactive. One is actually about to be liquidated within a few months for that very reason.

If you will work here for a foreign employer you´ll have to show them that you can afford to live here.

I do not think that the use of a payroll service makes an ANobAG into an "ANmbAG" if your employer is domiciled abroad.

All right, and I assume the employment contract and the salary statements could suffice for this? Or should I maybe attach my budget?

If you have an employment contract that should be enough. Might need translating though if not in English or Swiss language??
