AHV support for parents - naturalization

Hi all, wonder if someone knows what are the consequences of financial support from AHV?

My parents got the residency permit type B (based on my permit of type C) and moved recently and live with me.
Based on the fact that are financially dependent on me and have a very small pension - AHV sent a letter that they can apply for some support.
The question is / if they apply / will it negatively impact in the future my naturalization application?
Thanks,
arbus

If it's for health insurance subsidy only, that is OK, anything else is bad news.

Never mind you naturalisation, I would think that if you take support, you would be considered unable to support them and their permits may not be renewed next time.

Found this from Canton BS https://www.bdm.bs.ch/Einbuergerung/...uergerung.html
Ergänzungsleitungen (EL) are also o.k. and are not considered social aid as EL is considered as part of pillar 1. But check with SEM and your cantons migration authority if this is a Swiss wide rule.
