Early C Permit for Swiss "Spouse"

Gruezi mitenand,

I am new to the forum and I had a question regarding an early C permit after 5 years in Switzerland. I was on a student B Permit for 3 years and 2 years ago I entered a registered partnership, switching my B permit from a student to a Familiennachzug one.
Do the years on my student B permit count towards the 5 uninterrupted years of stay in Switzerland?

I have an unlimited work contract and a C1 German language certificate.

Thanks for your help.

Re: Early C Permit for Swiss "Spouse"

For early C based on Marriage/Partnership only the stay during marriage/partnership counts.

SEM Guidelines Chapter 6.2.4.1 https://www.sem.admin.ch/sem/de/home...sregelung.html

You might apply for early C based on good integration. It reads like this is possible when you had a non-student B for at least two years, and permit B in total for at least 5 years.

In the end: You can apply and they might deny. In the end C is C no mater how you got it.

Because they no longer get the passport with the bouquet. And because they need a C permit to get nationality.

“Swiss Spouse” implies that they are already Swiss. Other wise they’d be the Spouse of a Swiss.
