Zurich covid times permit issuance duration

How have been times for issuing permits this fall in Zurich (or elsewhere in CH)? Any recent experiences?

I just retrieved this morning my B permit, albeit only renewal and canton Aargau. Took about 6 weeks when the last years it took 3-4 months. I guess they have a reduced workload, not many companies are hiring, people in other EU countries is not thinking about moving to other country for work during pandemic, etc.

I’m curious about this too! My husband has just accepted a job offer and we’re getting ready to move back. I’m hoping the permit will be QUICK! I heard of an executive level having theirs approved in 3 weeks. Not sure if my husband’s position will have the same priority in the queue as an executive level management position does, but hopefully.

Any other recent experiences? Did you find out anything else minimimi? Thank you in advance!

I got mine (student B permit) in 3 weeks. I had to wait more than 2 months last year to get it.

Re: Zurich covid times permit issuance duration

my renewal in GE was submitted in October. After expiry I emailed them and asked. They said there are delays (well of course). Now its almost February.

So almost 4 months and no renewal permit. Don't know what the issue is. Before it took 2-3 weeks for me.

But there could be my dossier has become more complicated...
