i am an indian nationalm living in france since 2 yearsm i am currently pursing my masters in security science, Recently found a internship in Geneva for 6 months and company agree to apply me a work permit, how long its going to take for a work permit? is it worth considering the offer ? I already had 1 internship offers from RATP(Paris).

It takes as long as it takes. Just depends on whether or not you/the company need to provide more info, how long it takes them to check out stuff, etc. Also how long the processing times are with the covid situation atm. Might be better to go with the Paris internship since you're already based in France.

But Pay is what Makes me think a lot, 3500chf a month for internship and the company is kinda huge and possibility of having full-time afterwards . I was taking with HR about G permit so that i can commute between France and Geneva, My application was already sent to Canton and waiting for a response. As this Switzerland company is also based in Paris the financer promised me in case of any refusal he will offer me a contact from Paris..

This situation is confusing and making me depressed 😩😩😩

3500f is not a fortune here. Housing is expensive and health insurance is mandatory. If you could get these two alone in Geneva for less than 2-2500 I would be amazed. France voisine would be less expensive but then you would have the commute costs.

That wouldn't be possible since a non-EU national must have permanent French residency to qualify for one as well as having lived in a border zone for at least 6 months. I also doubt a 6 month internship would meet the labour/market conditions required.
