Registered partnership and naturalisation?

Hello. I wonder if anybody in the forum has applied for Swiss citizenship holding a C permit obtained after 5 years from being in a registered partnership.

That's my situation (non-EU). I wonder if it's advisable to do so or wait another 5 years to apply, if I foresee (not want) a separation in the next couple of years. Since the application for citizenship for registered partners is not a facilitated one anyway, would the condition of the relationship matter at all?

Thanks for your respectful feedback.
