| Dear All,
I have tried to browse many threads but found mixed response which somehow confused me so need your help to answer below queries:
1. Normally what is the validity of B Permit for Indians in Geneva if a local companies (Swiss Company) applies for it and prove that they don't found similar skills in Europe? I mean if they manage to get it.
2. Is it easy to get the renewal after expiry or company need to prove the exceptional skill during every renewal.
3. Is there any maximum limit for renewal which mean after few years; no more extension and which would force to leave the Switzerland
4. Is change of employer allowed or new employer need to go through same approval process?
Thank you for your help and response.
Best Regards

B permits for non-EU normally are valid for one year.
Renewal of B permits each year is usually just a formality.
There is no maximum number of renewals, although after 5 or 10 years, depending on your nationality, you are eligible to apply for a C permit.
Non-EU permits are often tied to the employer. If you wish to change enployers your new company will likely have to justify why they are not hiring a Swiss or EU national.
