Changing jobs on Geneva Permit B (Non-EU)

Hi guys,
I have looked through the many threads on similar subjects posted on this website, but couldn’t find anything to really help me( or didn’t maybe understand).

I hold a B permit(annually renewed) in Geneva with the following observations:
On front - activité lucrative autorisée
Back- changement d’employeur soumis à autorisation
Une activité indépendante est soumis à autorisation.
I have no mention of an employer on the card.
The permit was obtained when I got employed back in 2019. I have a potential offer to join a new company, but they do not understand if my permit is restricted to the initial employer who hired me or not.

I have tried to get information from OCPM over a week ago, it no reply+ various people say different things. Like some tell me I am restricted for 3 years, other day no restriction. Does someone non-Europe have experience in changing employers or knowledge how to understand if my permit is linked only to 1 employer?

Sorry for the long post, I just tried to be clear as possible.

I'd say it's pretty clear - change of employer subject to authorisation. Which means they probably will need to prove they can't find a Swiss/EU national who could do the job before they can hire you.

'changement d’employeur soumis à autorisation' literally means "changing employers requires approval" so yes, it is restricted to your employer and your new employer will need to apply for a new work authorization for you.

Oh, Medea beat me to it

And likely they will check with your current employer.
