Having got married in September in Bern.
I am now B permit holder living in CH.

However because if covid there are 3 or 4
Boxes containing personal items
( clothes , computers, books, CDs,dvds, etc)
At my mother's home in London

If I have these boxes shipped to Bern am
I supposed to pay customs duty.
(It seems a bit unfair)

Or do I wait until Switzerland is
On the UK green list so that I can go retrieve
My possession s

All help is appreciated

If used and personal effects, as far as I'm aware, you won't pay any duty.
Just call the customs office to be 100% sure.

For personal items there should be no customs fees.

You do not need to pay any custom duties, you must fill a personal effects form 18.44 for the customs, they will open up a file for you. Your items can be brought multiple times on different occasion, using couriers, personally etc. You must provide a proof of the transfer of domicile like employment contract, lease, confirmation of notice of departure from the country of departure. Even if you are using a carrier, just fill the form and forward to the company/person who is carrying your goods. Itís a very simple procedure... Goodluck
