Tax issues/ getting fresh L permit

Hello All,

Please answer below tax related question if you know any relevant info.

Few years back, I worked in Switzerland on L permit and filed tax returns for those years before leaving Switzerland.
After few months upon return to my home country, recived tax due notice to my colleague's local Swiss address ( gave local address to tax authorities before leaving), However i was unable to pay tax due remotely from my home country.

Question is, Now My employer want to apply fresh L permit for different job assignment.
Will i get L permit this time without any issues due to tax issues? I am ready to clear tax dues once i enter into Switzerland. please guide me.

What sort of tax?

On an L permit you should have been taxed at source, so generally don't receive a tax demand for income tax.

Re: Tax issues/ getting fresh L permit

Thanks newtoswitz for your reply.

It is about general personal income tax on salary.
Yes , my tax was deducted at source for L Permit. However, my employer deducted slightly less than actual amount, So i need to pay that difference amount to tax authorities.

So is there any implications while issuing fresh L Permit?

Suggest you contact your old gemeinde/canton and organise to pay the tax.
